Our Privacy Promise

At Wiry, we believe your emotional data is deeply personal and deserves the highest level of care and protection. Wiry is designed to be a judgment-free space for self-reflection, and that means your data stays with you—always. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect (and what we don’t), how it’s used, and how you can control it.

Data We Collect (and What We Don’t)

• No Account Data: Wiry does not require you to create an account, so we never collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information. You can use Wiry completely anonymously.
• Local-Only Data: All your mood check-ins, emotion tags, photo uploads, low-energy reset sessions, and timeline history are stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit this data to any external servers, cloud services, or third parties.
• No Usage Tracking: We do not track your app usage, screen time, or interaction patterns. Wiry does not include any analytics tools, advertising trackers, or third-party SDKs that would monitor your behavior.
• No Device Data Collection: We do not collect any device information, such as your device model, operating system version, IP address, or location data. Your device remains your private space, and we respect that boundary.

How Your Data is Used

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, the only use of your data is to power the Wiry app’s core features for your personal use:

• Your mood entries and emotion tags are used to display your timeline and help you identify patterns in your emotional rhythm.
• Your uploaded photos are attached to your mood entries and stored locally on your device for your personal review.
• Your low-energy reset sessions are logged to your timeline to help you track moments of self-care and recovery.
• None of this data is accessible to us, any third parties, or anyone else besides you (unless you explicitly choose to share it manually).

Photo Uploads & Media

When you choose to upload a photo to a mood entry:

• The photo is stored locally on your device and linked to your mood entry. It is not uploaded to any external servers or shared with anyone.
• You can delete the photo at any time by editing or deleting the corresponding mood entry.
• Wiry only accesses your device’s photo library with your explicit permission, and only for the purpose of attaching photos to your entries. We do not access any other photos or media on your device without your consent.

Data Control & Deletion

You have complete control over your data at all times:

• You can edit or delete any individual mood entry, low-energy reset session, or uploaded photo at any time within the app.
• You can clear your entire timeline and all local data by uninstalling the Wiry app from your device. This will permanently delete all your data, and it cannot be recovered.
• Since we do not store any of your data on our servers, there is no way for us to access, modify, or delete your data—only you can do that.

Third-Party Services

Wiry does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or social media platforms. We do not share your data with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third parties. The only exception is if you explicitly choose to share your entries manually (e.g., via a screenshot or text message), in which case the sharing is controlled entirely by you.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or our practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your privacy. Your continued use of Wiry after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
